Objective
The goal of this project was to design a promotional website that encourages users to explore and visit Lisbon. The site highlights the city’s charm through visually engaging elements, including real-time Instagram images and interactive Google Maps integration. The idea was to create an inspiring and informative experience that combines beautiful visuals with practical travel information, all in one place.
Challenge
A key challenge was integrating content from both Instagram and Google Maps in a way that felt seamless and cohesive with the overall design. I had to ensure that the external content loaded properly and didn’t affect the site’s performance or responsiveness. Styling embedded content to match the look and feel of the site, while also keeping the user experience smooth across devices, required careful attention to layout, loading behavior, and mobile optimization.
